This company was started by a tenacious young lady who knew that she wanted to change the logistics sector of shipping all together. She studied all of her competitors for years before entering the market as an international logistics agency. By studying the prices and state and federal regulations and standards of shipment she came with a sure fire way to undercut her competitors and gain hold of the market. She offered shipment prices that were lower than her competitor but she also offered other services that they did not. She paid attention to the little things that big corporations miss when dealing with the other international logistics agencies. After being in business for little over 5 years the headquarters which started in Conyers, GA; was moved downtown to Atlanta in a premiere location. The fleet started out with on 100 now there are over 1500 trucks. She also added three cargo planes and two cargo ships. With her silent partners she was able to take full control of the business. Hiring others to help with the work and orders came shortly after opening the doors to S.I.L.A. Our busiest months are span from August to Febuary. In the down months she regularly consults with her partners on ways to keep the competitive edge over the other companies. S.I.L.A has made a large impact on the logistics sector as hoped by Kimberly Spear. With the innovativeness of the company we will be around for a very long time.
