Hi,

My name is Kimberly Spear and I am currently in my senior year at Mercer University. This web site is apart of my Capstone Project for INFM 472-Human Computer Interaction.

For my capstone project I created an international logistics agency named S.I.L.A (Spear International Logistics Agency). Whose clients are big corporations that ship and receive both manufactured and produce goods. Because S.I.L.A's clientele has grown astronomically, to keep the company running smoothly a database was designed and implemented to house employee login information, freight shipment details, and other pertinent information.

For S.I.L.A I decided to create a web site that will allow employees to log into the employee portal remotely. The employee portal is secured with an employee login page that is coded in PHP and is linked to a table in their database that will validate the employee's login credentals against those already stored in the database.

The passwords of each employee is encrypted within the database to provide security and uphold the integrity of their login credentials.

The freight shipment request form in the employee portal is currently going through a debugging process that will be completed shortly.

A good programmer is someone who looks both ways before crossing a one-way street.

Enjoy!
