About the Project
Welcome to the INFM 480 Capstone 2024! This project is titled "Home Network Vulnerability Assessment" and aims to provide an easy-to-use checklist and tool to help individuals assess the security of their home networks. As more and more devices become connected to local networks, ensuring network safety is crucial to protect sensitive information and maintain privacy.
Project Goals
- Identify common security vulnerabilities in home networks.
- Create a user-friendly assessment tool to detect potential risks.
- Provide recommendations to improve network security.

- Documentation about and for the Tool

Why It Matters
With the increasing number of connected devices, mainly with Internet of Things(IoT) devices, home networks are more susceptible to cyber threats than ever before. This project aims to provide users with a user-friendly tool and digestable knowledge needed to secure their networks against potential intrusions.
