The healthcare industry demands not only highly skilled professionals but also individuals who demonstrate strong ethical standards, effective communication, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. Traditional hiring assessments, such as interviews and practical exams, often fail to measure a candidate’s professionalism, attitude, and patient-centered approach. This project aims to develop a structured, quiz-based assessment tool to objectively evaluate the professionalism, ethical decision-making, and attitude of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Medical Assistants (MAs) toward quality care. The motivation behind this project is to enhance the hiring process by ensuring that candidates are assessed not just for clinical competency but also for their mindset, empathy, teamwork, and adherence to ethical healthcare practices. Additionally, it seeks to provide constructive feedback to candidates who do not meet expectations, enabling them to enhance their interpersonal and ethical competencies before reattempting the assessment.
