AxonFlow: User Storyboards
Visual scenarios showing how users interact with AxonFlow to solve their problems.
Scenario 1: Edwin (The Procrastinator)
Goal: Start a large, daunting school assignment.
Panel 1: (Context) Edwin is at his computer. A school portal notification reminds him a big paper is due in 3 days. He feels a wave of anxiety and is tempted to open a video game.
Panel 2: (Action) He remembers AxonFlow. He opens the app and taps "Add New Task." He types: "Write Capstone Paper."
Panel 3: (Feature) The app prompts him: "This looks like a big task. Want to break it down?" He taps "Yes."
Panel 4: (Feature) He adds 3 sub-tasks: "1. Create Outline," "2. Write Introduction," "3. Research Sources." The big task now seems manageable.
Panel 5: (Action) He taps on "Create Outline" and then hits the "Start Focus Timer" button. The Pomodoro timer starts counting down from 25:00.
Panel 6: (Outcome) The timer goes off. He has finished his outline. The app pops a "Task Complete!" animation with a satisfying sound and haptic buzz. He feels a small rush of dopamine and thinks, "Okay, I can do this."
Scenario 2: Maria (The Juggling Professional)
Goal: Remember to do a "boring" but critical admin task.
Maria is finishing a creative design for a client. She feels great. Then she remembers that she has to send an invoice to Client X
She remembers that she downloaded AxonFlow, goes in and adds her task to pay the invoice.
The app's simple UI makes this take less than 10 seconds. With the reminder set, she returns to her work.
Later that day, she gets a reminder pop-up that nudges her to send the invoice. She does and gets the free dopamine hit from completing the task!
Scenario 3: Leo (The Restless Student)
Goal: Stay on task with homework.
Leo is in his dorm, "studying" for his history final. He has his textbook open, but he's also scrolling social media on his phone.
AxonFlow (which he set up earlier) detects he's been on a non-productive app for 10 minutes. A pop-up appears, set to the "funny/rude" reminder settings.
Busted, Leo sighs and taps the notification. It takes him directly to the "History Review" task in AxonFlow.
He taps the "Start Focus Timer" button. He puts his phone face down and starts reading his textbook.
The timer goes off after 20 minutes. The app says "Break Time! (5:00)". He happily takes his 5 minute break after being productive for 20 minutes
